I have used Flamingo which i think actually own the company you refer too, but rememberis is women's day which is the important day in Russia in march NOT valentines days which is a western festival moving only slowly into russia.
send only odd numbers of flowers and never yellow roses

If it was Mari el then i could help as I own the gift and flower business there

Hi

I use Flora2000.com, they might not be the cheapest but the flowers that arrive on time every time, with a phonecall to your loved one to tell them they are to receive flowers etc
and a text to you or e-mail to say they have delivered!!!!

Another vote for www.roses.ru from me too. Used them many times without any problems. www.flowers-to-russia.com is actually the same company under a different web address.

The online florists which have an English web pages and charge in Dollars/Euros/Sterling are always going to be expensive as they're primarily aimed at Western men who want to buy flowers for their lady abroad so you immediately get charged a premium for that. If you can read Russian then you would probably be better off using a Russian web site as you will be charged local prices. Also, they don't all deliver to the same locations/regions so you need to find one that is suitable for your girlfriend's/wife's location.

Regarding whether to send flowers on either Women's Day or Valentines day, the simple answer to that is to send flowers on both days

Also, anyone recomend a type of postal stamp/recorded system to Russia from the UK? Last letter i sent did not arrive and the first one i sent took nearly 2 weeks!

two weeks for a letter is the normal time, you can send things by recorded just ask for it when you got to the post office

Last thing I sent recorded to Russia took 5 weeks, so send it in good time if you're in a rush.

I've used Floraqueen a few times - not the cheapest, but they've got pretty good customer support and nothing has ever gone wrong.

I've used roses.ru many times. great service.

On one occasion, the flowers wilted and died after just a couple of days ($140+ worth). I did raise a bit of a fuss and at first they wouldnt replace them. They wanted to see a photo of the flowers??? (Hang on while I buy a digital camera and post it to Russia..)

But they quickly relented and replaced them with an even bigger bunch.

totally recommend their service, but their website doesnt inspire confidence when you press the 'submit' button at the time of payment.

You can find too many websites like this:
https://flowers-to-russia.com
https://roses.ru
http://flower-russia.com
https://russianflora.com
https://megaflowers.com
And many, many more. But prices for flowers will too expensive. If you want the best price - you need to find a flower shop in her city. Not flower shop for delivery all around Russia, but only in certain city.
So write in google - flower delivery Kaluga or Доставка цветов в Калуге, and in search result search flower shops really placed in Kaluga.
