Hello All,

My wife will be updating her Russian International Passport and Internal Passport to her married name, do we need to get our UK marriage certificate apostilled before we get it translated?

Regards

As far as I am aware you should get the UK Marriage Certificate Apostilled and this is because the Russian Government Departments do not accept any documents that are not issued in Russia unless they are Apostilled.

As Raffi stated, your marriage certificate must be Apostiled for acceptance in Russia, this is because a UK marriage certificate is NOT an original document, but a COPY of the original...
