Hello,

I was on the Russian rail site to get tickets for the first week of August and each train was showing that there were

no tickets available. I checked the same thing on REalRussia and there was all kinds of room. What gives?

Hi

Which trains?

We have a live link into the RZD schedule database which provides accurate information for all domestic trains that run on the Russian network.

For certain international trains there is no direct data-link and the only way to check availability is by asking them, however, as we are the number one specialist for Russian international trains (we outsold intourist last year by a margin) we have a quota which we can draw down on, it may be this you are seeing.

So, which train for which dates?

I suspect the OP forgot to post the link to wonderful website they are supposed to be promoting, apologies in advance if it was an actual question we do get a lot of people doing this.

As an aside, I travel from Moscow to Tula every 30th December and notice tickets sell out very quickly when they are released, do tickets really sell out completely or is there a reserve elsewhere?
