its listed now on most of the couriers like DHL , FED EX , Transglobal and others .

Seems to be only the UK involved so may be the Russian Sanctions reply to the UK aggression + Skipral possibly

Response to "UK aggression + Skripol" by stopping individuals sending parcels home? Dont think so.

This has been the norm for several years now, any parcels from the UK to me are sent only by Royal Mail Int signed for, never had a problem receiving anything yet, "touch wood", had a book arrive last week, 2 weeks these days, massive improvement on time to deliver a few years back....

How old is this? I can't find a date on it anywhere. As Mel says, there seem to be no problems sending parcels with Royal Mail. Nadya sends 8 or 10 a year probably with them and touch wood, i think only one or two have failed to arrive in 10 years or more. They take about two to three weeks to arrive typically.

A parcel was sent to me last Thursday from Scotland by Royal mail International signed for, I tracked it into Russia (Moscow) on the RM website, I then tracked it on the Russian postal service website directly to my (wooly wilds) local post office (a long way from Moscow), it arrived there yesterday evening, this morning I received the standard "come and collect your parcel" form in my post box (they don't deliver parcels), and popped along this afternoon to collect it, no problems and just about 1 week for delivery...

Well done RM & Russian postal service...

Yes indeed, our experience is about a week door to door with the odd delay when customs are checking for contraband cheese or whatever!

Well not even the Russian chamber of commerce in London could advise of a company to do private to private deliveries! as just tried transglobal having already tried all the well known couriers for the 20kg parcel
