Finally got round to sorting out the flight to get the mad Russian minx to the UK.

On the off chance I tried the S7 website after getting quoted £160 and was pleasantly surprised to find it for £138 (Krasnodar - Moscow - London) with S7 & BA codeshare.

Now thought I would have a laugh and see what BA would charge - for the identical flight excluding taxes BA was 10 times the price (S7 - 4638r and BA - 46800r). Now that is a mark-up, I suppose they have to pay for Iberia's losses somehow. Definitely pays to book on the Russian airline's website - all in English anyway. Just a bit of a fight to get the credit card accepted by their system - a few emails sorted this out.

Only problem with S7 is they do not allow you to pay for the excess luggage online - this has concentrated the better half's mind as to exactly how much she will be bringing over.
