Hello,

I've been living in St Petersburg for the last 5 years.
(whoops just noticed my profile still says location: Cambridge).

I have a question, which others on here may know the answer to. Please!

I still have a UK Amazon account which I mainly use to get Kindle books and occasionally real books.

In the past, if I wanted to buy physical books or DVDs I have ordered them to be delivered to an Amazon locker in Cambridge, and then picked them up when I was visiting the UK, and taken them back with me to St P in my luggage.

With the pandemic, I'm not travelling to the UK, so was thinking of trying to get delivery direct to our home address in St P (a private house, not a business address).

Has anyone had any experience of this? Does it work, and what customs info do you need to provide (and how!)?

I tried to order a VPN router from a UK company about a year ago, but when they sent it by courier, it spent a couple of weeks in Russian customs then got sent back to the sender.

Anyone have any hints and tips?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards

Ian
